Marathon Petroleum offers Military Leave to eligible employees in order to fulfill military obligations required by Law or administrative regulation. Regardless of duration, local HR and Absence Management must be notified of any absence that occurs during an employee's normal work schedule if Company pay with military pay offset is requested.
- Who Is Eligible

All regular employees who work on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Action Items

Along with paperwork, employee should provide copy of official military orders so that appropriate compensation/military offset to be addressed. Should you want to make a change to your benefits, the request must be made within 31 days of the commencement of the leave by visiting BenefitSolver at www.myMPCbenefits.com/mybenefits
Reminder: Please ensure accurate time entry is addressed during any period of associated absence. Absence should be coded as “military training.”

Active Employees: Did you know employees can now find answers to their Benefits/HR related questions immediately, within Workday? Visit Workday and enter your topic within the search bar at the top of the Workday screen to view related articles.
Can’t find your answer within an article? Workday also provides opportunities for employees to obtain answers by creating cases that are assigned to subject matter experts within MPC, to help answer your questions. To create a case, visit Workday and type “create a case” in the Workday search bar and select “Absences and Leaves” as your case type.
